Cai Fang
Vice President, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS)
Professor Cai is the Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. He is also a member of the Standing Committee and the Agricultural and Rural Affairs Committee of the 12th National People’s Congress of China.
Cai is the editor-in-chief of the academic journal Studies in Labor Economics. He is also on the advisory board of the 13th Five-Year Plan on National Economic and Social Development of China.
Cai’s research interests include labor economics, China’s economic growth, and income distribution, etc. Cai’s recent work includes: Demystifying the Economic Growth in Transition China, and From Demographic Dividend to Reform Dividend, etc.
