Li Xiangyang
Dr. Li Xiangyang received BA in Economics from Central University of Finance and Economics, and his MA and Ph.D. in Economics from Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) in 1983, 1988, 1998 respectively. He served as deputy-director, Institute of World Economics and Politics at CASS, from 2004-2009. And he has been serving as Director, National Institute of International Strategy at CASS, from 2009-present. He is a specialist in international economics and China’s foreign policy, authoring many papers and books on these topics in reginal economic integration, multilateral trade system, China’s foreign economic strategy and market failure theory. He is currently president of Chinese Society of South Asia, and deputy president of Chinese Society of Asia-Pacific, Chinese Society of World Economics and Chinese Society of Emerging Economies.
