Yoshihiko Yasumura
Yoshihiko Yasumura was born on September 28, 1963 in Osaka Prefecture, Japan.
After working for an enterprise software company, Yasumura joined Digital Electronics in 1992. To establish European sales network, Yasumura moved to Europe in 1999 as Director, Sales and Marketing. From 2000, he expanded direct sales entities in Europe starting from France, and became
president of Pro-face Europe (based in the Netherlands) in 2005, which was the headquarter for all European operations. Under his leadership,the Pro-face brand for its touch-panel displays for the industry had grown to become one of the most recognized brands throughout Europe. During this time in 2002, Digital Electronics merged with Schneider Electric.
He was appointed president of Digital Electronics in January 2011 and was appointed President of Schneider Electric Japan Inc as well as Japan Zone President for Schneider Electric group, responsible for overseeing Schneider Electric group’s overall business in Japan, including that of its affiliated companies and joint ventures.
