The year 2015 is a historical milestone for the Asia-Pacific region. Economic integration will enter a new stage with the inauguration of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) later in the year. It also marks 70 years from the end of the Second World War, as well as landmark anniversaries for many nations. In the 21st International Conference on The Future of Asia, we will discuss the task ahead for the Asia-Pacific region beyond 2015 as it continues its quest for lasting peace and prosperity.
