Jasen Wang

Jasen Wang (Wang Jianjun),born in 1985, founder & CEO of Makeblock (Makeblock Co., Ltd). Wang is a robotics enthusiast, a product manager, and a hardcore maker, and was once ranked as one of the 30 top entrepreneurs under the age of 30 by Forbes China.

After earning his master degree in Aircraft Design in Northwestern Polytechnical University in 2010 and spending a year in the workforce, Wang founded robotics startup Makeblock in 2011 with the aim to help people turn their ideas into reality. Makeblock was the first Chinese hardware startup that ever launched a successful crowdfunding project on Kickstarter, sparking a trend ofcrowdfunding fever in China. Makeblock laterbecame one of the first round of graduates and alumni of famous hardware accelerator HAX. As one of the first entrants in the industry, Makeblock has become one of the leading STEAM education brands.
