Khurelbaatar Chimed
Minister of Finance, Mongolia
H.E. Mr.Khurelbaatar Chimed has been appointed as the Minister of Finance effective from October 18, 2017.
He has held high-level Government positions from 2000, serving as the Economic Policy Advisor to the Prime Minister of Mongolia, State Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, Minister of Energy and the Cabinet Secretary of Mongolia, respectively.
H.E. Mr. Khurelbaatar Chimed has been elected to the Parliament of Mongolia three consecutive terms in a row. During this period, he has also served as the Head of Budget Standing Committee for two terms, between 2008-2009 and 2016-2017.
